- Work closely with hospitals, surgeons, allied health professionals, accommodation providers and community organisations.
- Champion child safeguarding in all you do.
- Manage program risks, budgets, records and reporting.
- Participate in a shared after-hours on-call roster when children are in Australia.

Clinical treatment decisions remain the responsibility of the treating medical team.

About you

You will bring

- A tertiary qualification in nursing, allied health or another relevant discipline.
- Experience in complex care, health-program coordination or a comparable setting.
- Demonstrated experience leading and developing staff.
- Strong skilled judgement, risk-management and escalation skills.
- Sound child safeguarding knowledge and experience.
- The ability to build trusted relationships with children, families,

health professionals and diverse stakeholders, while also maintaining professional boundaries.
- Experience working with culturally and linguistically diverse families.
- Strong communication, organisation and budget-management skills.
- A current full Australian driver licence.
- Capacity to work flexibly, travel interstate and participate in the on-call roster.

Current registration as a Registered Nurse is highly desirable. Candidates with substantial, directly comparable health-program experience will also be considered.

What we offer

- Competitive SCHADS Level 5 remuneration, plus salary packaging and salary sacrifice benefits.
- Use of a company car and phone.
- A genuinely flexible, family-friendly and hybrid work culture.
- Ability to work across four or five days, where program needs allow.
- Professional development opportunities.
- Confidential Employee Assistance Program.
- Meaningful work with measurable impact on children’s lives.
- A supportive team and the opportunity to help shape a growing organisation.

The role combines working from home, weekly attendance at our Bourke Street office and regular work at hospitals, accommodation providers and other program locations.
