Role Description This part-time remote role for a Mobile App Developer / Android Developer focuses on building and maintaining Android applications that support Amazon marketing, SEO, ecommerce advertising, Seller Central, and FBA workflows. The developer designs and implements app features, integrates APIs and backend services, and ensures smooth data flow between mobile interfaces and ecommerce platforms.

Day-to-day tasks include writing clean, efficient code, optimizing app performance, and debugging technical issues. The role also involves collaborating with marketing and product teams to translate advertising and analytics requirements into intuitive mobile experiences, while maintaining security, usability, and reliability standards. The developer contributes to iterative improvements based on user feedback and changing Amazon marketplace needs.

Qualifications

- Strong Software Development skills, including mobile application architecture and lifecycle management.
- Proficiency in Programming for Android (e.g., Kotlin and/or Java)



and familiarity with modern development frameworks.
- Experience working with Databases for storing, retrieving, and managing app and ecommerce-related data.
- Knowledge of Cascading Style Sheets (CSS) and related front-end technologies for styling web-based components within hybrid or companion apps.
- Hands-on Integration experience with RESTful APIs, SDKs, and third-party services, including ecommerce and advertising platforms.
- Understanding of Amazon advertising, Seller Central, FBA, or ecommerce workflows is highly beneficial.
- Ability to work independently in a remote workplace, manage part-time schedules, and meet project deadlines.
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or related field, or equivalent practical experience.
- Experience with version control systems (e.g., Git), testing frameworks, and continuous integration tools.
- Strong problem-solving skills and clear written and verbal communication.
