Mobility Advisor

Grade: Clerk Grade 7/8, base salary $116,981- $129,492 per annum plus super

Employment Type: Temporary role until 30/9/2026 (possibility of extension)

Location: Parramatta, Gosford, McKell or other of our other DCS office locations. Hybrid working arrangements including office attendance a couple of days a week. About the team

This role is part of the DCS P&C; Mobility Team. You will be joining a hugely supportive and collaborative team of recruitment professionals who understand that collectively we can overcome any challenges. About the role

As a Mobility Advisor, you will play a pivotal role in providing empathetic support and guidance to staff impacted by organisational changes. In this role, you will provide expert advice, guidance and end-to-end support to employees impacted by organisational change, helping them successfully navigate mobility, redeployment and career transition opportunities across the department, the broader NSW Public Sector and external organisations. Working within a dynamic and fast-paced environment, you will partner closely with employees, hiring managers and key stakeholders to deliver positive workforce mobility outcomes.

You will combine strong relationship management, coaching, and advisory skills with a customer-focused approach to ensure employees feel supported, informed, and empowered throughout their transition journey. Your main responsibilities and duties will include but are not limited to:

Delivering end-to-end case management and personalised career transition support for employees participating in workforce mobility and redeployment programs.

Building and maintaining effective stakeholder relationships to facilitate placement opportunities and achieve positive mobility outcomes.

Collaborating with HR teams, business leaders,



and external stakeholders to support workforce mobility initiatives and organisational priorities.

Educating and coaching stakeholders on mobility processes, policies and best-practice approaches to ensure fair, equitable and compliant outcomes.

Coordinating talent resourcing activities and supporting the delivery of workforce transition programs. Monitoring progress, identifying risks, and implementing practical solutions in a dynamic and evolving environment.

Contributing to continuous improvement by applying contemporary talent management and workforce mobility practices

About you

You demonstrate experience working within an HR / Talent role with a knowledge of talent acquisition or HR processes and policies within a government environment.

You maintain a high level of attention to detail, responding quickly and accurately to critical information.

You are organised and self-motivated, capable of executing key tasks in a high-pressure environment.

You possess a broad knowledge of candidate sourcing techniques and strategies for role matching experience.

You prioritise clear and open communication with customers and stakeholders, understanding and interpreting their needs. You lead an empathetic approach, providing support and proactively solving problems during times of change.

Experience with Case Management in an HR workplace or knowledge of IR / ER practices will be highly regarded.
