We're committed to providing high-quality Supported Independent Living (SIL) services that empower people with disability to live independently, build meaningful lives, and achieve their goals. We're currently seeking compassionate and reliable Disability Support Workers to join our growing team across our SIL homes.

Our homes operate 24 hours a day, 7 days a week, with a combination of day, afternoon and overnight inactive sleepover shifts available. Our staffing ratios range from 1:2 through to 1:3 supports, allowing our team to provide genuine, person-centred care while working collaboratively with colleagues.

About the Role

As a Disability Support Worker, you'll support participants in a home environment, assisting them to live as independently as possible while promoting choice, dignity and inclusion.

Key Responsibilities

Provide high-quality support to NDIS participants within our Supported Independent Living homes.

Assist with activities of daily living, including personal care, grooming, meal preparation and household tasks.

Support participants with mobility, manual handling and medication administration where required.

Follow individual support plans, behaviour support plans and health care plans.

Encourage community participation, social engagement and recreational activities.

Foster positive relationships built on trust, respect and participant choice.

Accurately document progress notes, incidents and changes in participant needs.

Work collaboratively with fellow support workers, families,



allied health professionals and management.

Maintain a safe, clean and welcoming home environment.

Promote participant independence while ensuring their health, safety and wellbeing at all times.

About You

Skills & Experience

Previous experience in disability support, aged care or community services (preferred but not essential).

A genuine passion for supporting people to live fulfilling and independent lives.

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

Ability to build positive relationships with participants, families and colleagues.

Compassionate, patient and adaptable approach to support.

Ability to work both independently and collaboratively.

Experience with personal care, manual handling and medication administration is highly regarded.

Current NDIS Worker Screening Check.

Current Working with Children Check.

Current First Aid & CPR Certificate.

Valid Australian Driver Licence.

Current National Police Check (or willingness to obtain).

NDIS Worker Orientation Module (preferred).

Full Australian working rights.
