About the Role

We are seeking a recent engineering or industrial design graduate who is looking to start their career as a Graduate SolidWorks Designer / CAD Assistant in our hybrid caravan manufacturing business.

This position is specifically suited to graduates or junior candidates with SolidWorks experience gained through university, TAFE, internships, or entry-level employment. If you are looking for your first full time design role and are eager to develop your skills in a hands‑on manufacturing environment, we'd like to hear from you.

You will work alongside our experienced design and manufacturing team, assisting with product development, production drawings, and continuous improvement projects while building your practical design experience.

Key Responsibilities

- Create and modify 2D and 3D models using SolidWorks
- Assist with caravan component and layout designs
- Prepare production drawings and technical documentation




- Work closely with the manufacturing team to support production
- Update and maintain existing CAD files and drawing records
- Assist with prototype development and product improvements

Essential Requirements

- Confident using SolidWorks (through university, TAFE, projects, internships, or previous work)
- Ability to read and interpret technical drawings
- Strong attention to detail
- Willingness to learn and develop professionally
- Good communication and teamwork skills
