THE POSITION

As our Parts Interpreter / Customer Service Representative, you will play a vital role within our Customer Service team, delivering exceptional support to customers by providing timely, accurate, and solution-focused service. You will manage customer enquiries, process orders, coordinate deliveries, and work closely with internal teams and suppliers to ensure outstanding customer outcomes while supporting key performance measures such as DIFOT and order accuracy.

Your responsibilities will include (but not limited to):

- Acting as the primary point of contact for customer enquiries via phone and email.
- Interpreting parts requirements and providing effective solutions to minimise customer downtime.
- Advising customers on product availability, pricing, and lead times.
- Managing customer orders from initial enquiry through to delivery, ensuring customers and sales representatives are kept informed throughout the process.
- Monitoring and supporting DIFOT performance to ensure customer expectations are met.
- Building strong working relationships across Sales, Engineering, Purchasing, Planning, and other internal stakeholders.
- Maintaining accurate customer and order information while ensuring a high level of attention to detail.

THE PERSON

This opportunity will suit an experienced Parts Interpreter, individual with a technical background, or a skilled heavy vehicle mechanic looking to leverage their industry knowledge in a customer-focused role.





You are a proactive and customer-centric professional who enjoys solving problems, building relationships, and taking ownership of outcomes. You thrive in a team environment, communicate effectively, and are motivated by delivering excellent service and support to customers.

To be successful, you will bring:

- Minimum 3 years' experience in customer service, parts interpretation, or related role, preferably within the heavy vehicle, transport, manufacturing, or industrial sector.
- A technical background with exposure to truck and trailer suspension systems highly regarded.
- Strong written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills.
- Excellent organisational and time management skills with the ability to manage competing priorities.
- A proactive approach to problem-solving and customer support.
- Robust computer literacy and a high level of accuracy and attention to detail.
- The ability to build and maintain effective working relationships with both internal stakeholders and external customers.
- The ability to read and interpret technical drawings and translate technical information into practical, customer-friendly solutions.
