About the Role

We are seeking a highly capable Senior Estimator / Tender Coordinator to join our growing arboricultural business in Melbourne.

This role is ideal for someone who can accurately estimate and quote tree works, secure profitable tenders, strategically utilise company resources, and help drive long-term business growth.

You will play a critical role in driving revenue, improving profitability, maximising operational efficiency, and ensuring projects are correctly scoped from the outset.

Key Responsibilities

Conduct site visits and client consultations

Prepare accurate quotes for residential, commercial, and large-scale arboricultural works

Assess job scope, access, safety risks, equipment, permits, labour requirements, and operational resources

Identify tender opportunities and manage tender submissions from start to finish

Prepare pricing schedules, supporting documentation, and compliance paperwork

Manage incoming leads and maximise conversion rates





Leverage existing industry relationships and networks where possible

Liaise with clients, councils, contractors, and internal operations teams

Support handover to operations for successful project delivery

Assist in improving estimating systems, pricing strategy, resource allocation, and profitability analysis

What We’re Looking For

Strong experience within arboriculture or tree services (essential)

Excellent numerical skills and commercial awareness

Strong understanding of how to effectively utilise crews, equipment, and company resources

Highly organised with exceptional attention to detail

Strong communication and relationship-building abilities

Ability to work autonomously and take ownership of outcomes

Solid understanding of compliance, safety, and project logistics

Highly Regarded (Bonus)

Previous tender writing and submission experience

Existing industry contacts, commercial relationships, or client networks

Experience with commercial or government contracts

Understanding of council processes and permit pathways

Familiarity with ServiceM8, Xero, or similar systems

Strong strategic mindset focused on business growth
