We are seekinga thorough, commercially experienced professional Cleaner to join our team atStafford. At Queensland Veterinary Specialists, we thrive in a fast-paced, hands-on, and diverse environment whereyou'llengage with a variety of pets in need of care.The Clinic Caretaker is responsible for maintaining a clean, safe, and well-functioning environment within the veterinary clinic. This role supports the clinical team by ensuring facilities, equipment, and animal areas are kept in excellent condition.

Your role will involve a range of tasks including:

- Maintain cleanliness of all clinic areas including consulting rooms, treatment areas, kennels, and common spaces
- Ensure laundry (towels, bedding, uniforms) is washed, dried, and restocked
- Monitor and restock cleaning supplies and notify management when stock is low
- Assist with waste management, including general waste and clinical waste disposal
- Perform basic maintenance tasks (e.g., changing light bulbs, minor repairs, reporting larger issues)
- Ensure outdoor areas are tidy and safe (e.g., gardens, walkways, waste areas)
- Assisting with any ad hoc duties alongside our team of animal experts





This position offers a Monday to Friday12pm – 8pm,with the possibility of flexible shifts to accommodate the team during busy periods.

What we're looking for:

- A minimum of 2 years of commercial cleaning experience
- Preferably experience in cleaning within a medical or hospital setting
- Ability to multitask efficiently in a quick-paced environment while maintaining high standards
- A warm, approachable personality and strong work ethic
- A team player with a dedication to hard work

We are particularly interested in individuals who are passionate about animals and comfortable assisting our professional vet and nursing team when needed.
