Since joining the ANZ Flooring group in 2022, the business has continued to expand its product portfolio and distribution network to support significant growth across Australia and New Zealand. As part of this exciting next phase, we are opening a new warehouse facility in Braybrook and are seeking an experienced, motivated and hands‑on Warehouse Supervisor to establish and lead the day‑to‑day operations of the site.
About the Role
Reporting to the head office based in Braeside, this is a key role responsible for overseeing the daily operation of our new warehouse while remaining actively involved in its day‑to‑day activities.
Responsibilities
- Supervising the receiving, storage and dispatch of goods
- Leading the day‑to‑day operations of the warehouse
- Maintaining inventory accuracy through stock control and regular stocktakes
- Coordinating with third‑party logistics providers and transport partners
- Ensuring on‑time and accurate customer dispatch
- Utilising ERP and WMS systems effectively to ensure data accuracy and efficient stock movement
- Driving continuous improvement initiatives to optimise warehouse processes, layout and efficiency
- Maintaining warehouse facilities, equipment and housekeeping standards
- Ensuring compliance with ISO 9001, safety and Chain of Responsibility requirements
- Building strong working relationships across the business to deliver exceptional customer service
About You
To be successful in this role, you will be a proactive and adaptable warehouse professional who enjoys being on the warehouse floor as much as managing its operations.
You will ideally have:
- Previous experience in a Warehouse Supervisor or similar leadership role
- Strong knowledge of warehouse operations, inventory control and distribution processes
- Experience using ERP/Warehouse Management Systems (Microsoft Dynamics D365 highly regarded)
- Excellent organisational, communication and problem‑solving skills
- A hands‑on approach with a strong focus on customer service and continuous improvement
- Sound understanding of workplace health and safety requirements and Chain of Responsibility obligations
- Experience working within a manufacturing or national distribution environment will be highly regarded
