Advance Vision Technology About the Role As our business continues to expand, we are seeking an experienced ICT Business Analyst to join our Melbourne office and work closely with enterprise clients across a range of ICT projects involving business systems, software implementation, digital transformation and systems integration.

This is a senior consulting role responsible for analysing business operations, identifying technology opportunities, gathering and documenting business requirements, and working closely with stakeholders and software development teams to deliver high-quality ICT solutions. The successful candidate will play a critical role throughout the entire project lifecycle, from requirements analysis and solution design through implementation, testing, deployment and post-implementation support.

Task & responsibilities Key Responsibilities

You will be responsible for: Leading workshops with business stakeholders to gather, analyse and document business requirements. Analysing existing business processes, workflows and enterprise systems to identify improvement opportunities. Preparing Business Requirement Documents (BRDs), Functional Specification Documents (FSDs), user stories, process maps and workflow documentation.

Performing gap analysis between business requirements and existing system capabilities,



recommending practical ICT solutions. Working closely with software architects, developers, testers and project managers to ensure business requirements are accurately translated into technical solutions. Preparing process models, workflow diagrams, data flow diagrams and business rules using appropriate modelling tools.

Managing requirements traceability and assessing the impact of change requests throughout project delivery. Supporting Agile, Scrum and Waterfall software development methodologies. Coordinating System Integration Testing (SIT), User Acceptance Testing (UAT), defect management and solution validation.

Supporting enterprise software implementation, systems integration and digital transformation projects. Facilitating communication between business users and technical teams throughout the SDLC. Producing user documentation, training materials and conducting client training sessions.

Monitoring project progress, identifying project risks and assisting project managers in delivering successful outcomes. Providing ongoing post-implementation business analysis and continuous improvement recommendations. Supporting the company's Australian and international project teams when required.

Qualification & experience

Qualifications Applicants should possess: A relevant ICT qualification such as an Advanced Diploma, Diploma, Bachelor's degree or higher in Information Technology, Computer Science,



Information Systems or a related discipline. Applicants with substantial industry experience in ICT Business Analysis may also be considered. Relevant ICT industry certifications will be viewed favorably.

Skills & Experience

The successful applicant should demonstrate: Minimum 5 years' professional experience as an ICT Business Analyst or Senior Business Analyst. Robust experience working across the complete Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC).

Extensive experience in business requirements elicitation, stakeholder management and business process analysis. Proven experience preparing BRDs, FSDs, SRS documentation and user stories. Experience with Agile, Scrum and Waterfall methodologies.

Experience conducting workshops, solution analysis and requirements validation. Strong understanding of enterprise software implementation and systems integration projects. Experience coordinating SIT, UAT and production deployment activities.

Experience in one or more of the following will be highly regarded: Banking or financial services systems Payment platforms Enterprise application integration Digital transformation initiatives Cloud-based business systems ERP or CRM implementation projects
