Our client has recently secured a landmark $30M Datacentre infrastructure project in Melbourne’s inner west and are seeking an experienced Senior Project Engineer to manage comprehensive civils package.
This role would suit a Tier 1/2 Senior Project Engineer looking for a clear, unobstructed runway to PM, or an established Tier 3 Project Manager who thrives on being close to the action and executing self‑delivery works.
You will step into an autonomous position, taking the operational reins of the project to drive delivery, manage a mix of self‑perform crews and subcontractors, and work shoulder-to-shoulder with an established local leadership team.
The Scope of Works
You will own the day-to-day delivery of the entire civils and infrastructure package, including:
- Bulk Earthworks & Drainage: Managing heavy‑loading site prep, retention systems, and critical stormwater infrastructure.
- Deep Foundations: Coordinating complex piling operations tailored for high‑spec datacentre structures.
- External Works: Delivering final‑phase carparks, heavy‑duty pavements, and high‑security fencing interfaces.
