What you will need:
- CurrentVictorian A-Grade Electrical Licence
- Strong experience in industrial electrical maintenance
- Proven ability to fault find and diagnose issues across control and power circuits
- Experience working within live industrial environments
- Strong commitment to safety and compliance with site procedures
- General Construction Induction - White Card
Pre-Employment Requirements:
- Attend pre-employment medical including a drug and alcohol test.
Key Responsibilities
- Perform preventative, breakdown and emergency maintenance on industrial electrical equipment to ensure safe and reliable operations.
- Diagnose and rectify electrical faults, minimising downtime and maximising plant performance.
- Install, modify and commission electrical equipment, control systems and associated infrastructure.
- Assist with PLC, motor control and automation systems, including testing, troubleshooting and commissioning activities.
- Read and interpret electrical drawings, schematics and technical documentation.
- Ensure all work is completed safely and in compliance with Australian Standards, site requirements and company procedures.
- Build strong relationships with clients and provide qualified technical support and customer service.
- Complete maintenance reports, service records and project documentation accurately and on time.
- Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives that enhance safety, reliability and operational efficiency.
- Support team development through knowledge sharing, training and mentoring of apprentices where required.
Desirable Experience & Qualifications
- First Aid & CPR Certification
- Working at Heights (WaH) Qualification
- EWP licence (Yellow Card)
- Experience with PLC fault finding and industrial automation systems
- Exposure to industrial control systems and process environments
- Minimum 7 years' experience in the industrial sector
