IT Transformation & Systems Lead

6–12 Month Contract | Dandenong South, VIC

Martogg Group is seeking an experienced IT transformation and systems professional to lead critical infrastructure, network, cloud, cybersecurity and business-systems improvement initiatives, while also supporting the effective delivery of day-to-day IT operations.

Reporting to the Chief Financial Officer, the successful applicant will partner with internal IT resources, the Managed Service Provider, operational stakeholders and external technology vendors to deliver secure, scalable and practical solutions.

Key Responsibilities

- Lead end-to-end IT infrastructure and business-systems projects, including requirements gathering, solution design, implementation, testing and transition to support.
- Support day-to-day IT operations, including incident coordination, service-request management, user support escalation, system availability, operational troubleshooting and continuous improvement of support processes.
- Coordinate fibre relocation, unified communications or telephony replacement, site Wi-Fi optimisation, LAN/WAN improvements and network resilience initiatives.
- Analyse and deliver warehouse technology solutions, including barcode scanning, mobility, workflow automation, intranet-based tools and integration with business systems.
- Coordinate the deployment,



enhancement and integration of internal applications, ERP-adjacent systems and operational platforms.
- Establish the company’s AI implementation roadmap, including business-use-case assessment, data security, privacy, governance, user adoption and engagement with specialist providers.
- Assess cloud, hybrid and on-premises options for servers, storage, backup, disaster recovery, endpoint management and business continuity.
- Manage vendors, budgets, risks, project schedules and status reporting, providing clear technical and commercial recommendations to senior management.

Qualifications and Experience

- Degree, diploma or relevant IT qualification in information technology, systems, networking, cybersecurity or a related discipline, or equivalent professional experience.
- Minimum five years’ experience in IT infrastructure, systems administration, systems engineering, solution delivery or technology project management.
- Proven experience delivering network, cloud, cybersecurity, server, storage, backup or disaster recovery projects.
- Working knowledge of Microsoft 365, Azure, identity and access management, endpoint security, data protection and business-system integration.
- Practical understanding of enterprise AI tools, data governance, privacy, security controls and responsible AI implementation considerations.
- Experience managing Managed Service Providers, external vendors, budgets, procurement activities and project governance.
- Robust capability in requirements analysis, solution documentation, stakeholder engagement, change management and executive communication.
- Manufacturing, warehousing, logistics, automation or operational technology experience is advantageous.
- ERP, WMS, integration, reporting or process-automation experience is beneficial.
