Full-Time Motor Mechanic / Automotive Technician An exciting opportunity has become available for a full-time qualified and experienced Vehicle Mechanic to join our small family business.

We service and repair modern and classic cars with equal emphasis on modern computer based diagnostic procedures as well as traditional mechanical repairs and servicing.

- The role of a Motor Mechanic/ Automotive Technician is important and paramount to the success of the business. Our successful applicant MUST also display:
- Working unsupervised and having special attention to detail is mandatory for the position. It’s a small team, therefore, teamwork is vital
- Self motivated and confident
- 2 years practical mechanical experience is essential. [ A Certificate 3 or 4 qualification is a must or close to completion]
- The applicant MUST be able to perform diagnostic and mechanical repairs at a high level of expertise
- Main job will be mechanical though at times there will be tyre work.
Willing to learn how to fit/strip/balance tyres of all sizes and perform wheel alignments if required
- Repair and maintain a wide range of vehicles
- Ensure all compliance and paperwork is filled in
- Safety conscious and Adhere to all WHS procedures and policies
- Proven experience as a vehicle mechanic
- Ability to fit into our team environment
- Show Pride in their presentation & cleanliness
- Must be reliable, honest, punctual, hard working
- Posses Organisation skills

Pay
- Annual Salary for the Applicant will be from $65,000 a year plus super
- Monday – Friday 8am to 4.30pm - Full Time 38 hours normal time
- Overtime available with Saturday also on rotation
- Experience:
Be Australian Trade Qualified in either Light Vehicle Mechanic Cert or Diesel Mechanic no criminal history.
- Automotive Technician: minimum 2 years (Required)
- Automotive Repair: minimum 2 years (Required)
- Licence:
- Drivers Licence (Required)
- Manual licence (Desirable)

Pay: $65,000.00 – $85,000.00 per year
