National Construction Manager

Our client, a respected leader in small-format retail, is expanding in Australia and is seeking an experienced National Construction Manager to lead the rollout of their new drive-thru formats nationwide.

About the Role

With a strong presence, this brand is embarking on a major growth phase in Australia. While the portfolio will include leasehold sites such as shopping centres and airports, the primary focus is drive-thru developments, making expertise in this area, or in the delivery of new fuel sites essential.

As National Construction Manager, you'll lead strategy, concept design, and delivery of new store builds, bringing innovation and commercial rigour to every stage of the process.

Key Responsibilities:

- Develop current systems, concepts, and delivery strategies for national store expansion.
- Apply deep experience in drive-thru design and construction to ensure best practice across all builds.
- Oversee the installation and replacement of commercial cooking equipment, cabinetry, and retail displays.
- Manage tenders, procurement, and governance frameworks to ensure quality, compliance, and cost-efficiency.
- Lead and support a small team of state-based Project Managers across all phases of construction.
- Collaborate closely with internal and external stakeholders to ensure smooth and timely project execution.




- Ensure all projects are delivered on time, on budget, and to spec.

What We're Looking For

- Proven expertise in delivering retail construction projects, with a strong focus on drive-thru environments or new-build service-station projects.
- Experience leading multi-site rollouts and large-scale upgrade programs.
- Skilled in managing procurement, tender processes, and governance protocols.
- Excellent stakeholder engagement and team leadership capabilities.
- A strategic mindset with strong commercial acumen.
- Willingness to travel interstate as required.
- Relevant qualifications in construction, design, or architecture are highly regarded.
