THE ORGANISATION

Our client is a global leader in automation manufacturing with a growing footprint across AUS. They are entering an exciting period of local growth and are now seeking an experienced National HR Manager to lead their people strategy across the country.

THE ROLE

Reporting to the COO and working closely with the international HR leadership team, this newly created National HR Manager role is a true generalist remit spanning strategy, culture, compliance and operations. You will lead a small national HR team, including an HR Business Partner and 3 HR Administrators plus Payroll functions, and act as a trusted advisor to site leaders and executive management across the organisation's Australian operations.

The role is responsible for translating global HR strategy into local action, driving employee and industrial relations outcomes, overseeing talent acquisition and development, and ensuring full compliance with the Fair Work Act, National Employment Standards, Up-to-date Awards and WHS requirements.



You will also lead change management initiatives, support succession and performance frameworks, and contribute to the ongoing digitalisation of HR systems and processes. Occasional domestic travel and periodic international travel to global headquarters is required.

THE CANDIDATE The successful candidate will bring several years of senior HR leadership experience in a role with genuine national responsibility. You must have experience within an operational, manufacturing, industrial or engineering-driven environment. You will have strong working knowledge of Australian labour law and a proven track record managing employee and industrial relations, change management and HR compliance at scale.

This role offers 5 days work from home per month with genuine flexibility on hours. Free parking on site, based in Western Sydney.
