Workfast is currently seeking motivated and reliable Factory Hands to join our client’s custom picture framing and printing operations team in Roselands, NSW.

Pay Rate: $35.00 per hour + OT penalties and Superannuation
Shifts Available: Day Shift: 9:00am to 5:00pm, Monday to Friday
Location: Roselands, NSW

You’ll be responsible for assisting in the custom picture framing, acrylic cutting, canvas stretching, and printing preparation processes, ensuring all bespoke orders are crafted, assembled, and packaged to the highest quality standards. What you need

- Previous experience in a factory, light manufacturing, picture framing, woodworking, or assembly environment (highly regarded)
- High attention to detail and pride in work quality to handle delicate artwork, glass, and timber frames
- Proficiency with basic hand tools, measuring tapes, and manual assembly equipment
- Physical fitness and the ability to perform manual handling tasks (lifting timber, acrylic, and framed products)
- Must have a driver’s licence and reliable transportation to Roselands
- Robust commitment to Workplace Health & Safety (WHS) protocols
- Excellent reliability, punctuality, and a strong work ethic
- Full Australian working rights

What you will be doing

- Cutting, assembling, and joining timber moulding for picture frames
- Measuring and cutting backing boards, glass, acrylic, and matboards to precise dimensions
- Assisting with canvas stretching, mounting prints, and artwork assembly
- Performing quality control checks on finished frames and prints prior to dispatch
- Safely packaging and wrapping finished goods for secure transport and delivery
- Operating basic woodworking machinery, pneumatic joiners, and hand tools
- Maintaining a safe, clean, and organized workshop floor
- Working closely with the production team to meet daily manufacturing schedules
