Introduction:

The Account Director is responsible for developing, localising and executing creative campaigns covering all communication channels across the account, ensuring projects are delivered to an exceptional standard and within agreed timelines and budgets.

Key Responsibilities

- Build and manage a strategic partnership with mid-senior level clients.
- Diligently Identify client needs and create business development opportunities with existing clients, new clients and new business.
- Drive the development of professional and compelling presentations to present creative work to clients
- Create cross-functional synergies in the development and execution of campaign plans, timelines and project plans.
- Development of strategic and creative solutions; by managing the development of effective internal creative briefs from client briefs and ensure these are managed through creative studio.
- Liaise and collaborate with other agencies on the specific piece of business
- Ensure project finances, including budgets, reconciliations/job profitability are completed with specified timeframes
- Manage the account forecast and billing and ensure the forecast tracker is regular updated and completed for the year ahead.
- Manage client billings and evidence to support




- Manage project workflow and project visibility across the account and ensure requirements are briefed in by the Account Manager in daily resource meetings.
- Ensure campaign plans are developed and executed efficiently and effectively.
- Ensure timelines and project plans are in place and managed by team
- Provide clear direction, delegation of responsibility and set performance expectations for others' behaviour and approach to getting the job done

Description

- Tertiary level qualification. BA Degree or above.
- 3-5 years in a similar role preferred - integrated marketing experience in an agency environment advantageous.
- Previous line management experience.
- Proven track record in growing accounts, winning recent business/pitches in TTL
- Strong experience in developing, managing and executing projects.
- Experience in consumer electronics /retail industry an advantage.
- Strong understanding of Communication and Advertising Industry.
