An opportunity exists for a highly motivated individual with a hands-on approach to become an integral part of our Clyde team. This position plays a key role in the daily operation of our Building Supplies and Concrete businesses, ensuring safe, efficient and customer-focused site operations.

This is a diverse role that offers variety, responsibility and the opportunity to work across multiple aspects of our operation.

What you’ll be doing

Variety is the name of the game here, and no two days will be the same. You’re equally comfortable helping customers at the counter, loading trucks, operating plant and equipment, managing stock, and supporting concrete production activities. You’re a practical problem-solver who takes pride in maintaining a safe, organised and productive work environment.

You thrive in a fast-paced operational setting where customer service, teamwork and safety go hand in hand. Above all, you’ll play a critical role in ensuring our people, customers and contractors go home safely every day while contributing to the ongoing success of the site.

Key Responsibilities:

- Promoting and maintaining a healthy and safe work environment for employees, contractors and visitors.
- Operating mobile plant including Front End Loaders and Forklifts/Telehandlers.
- Loading customer vehicles and coordinating inbound and outbound deliveries.
- Processing customer sales, orders, receivals, returns and dispatch documentation.
- Assisting customers with product selection and ensuring accurate order fulfilment.




- Supporting concrete production activities including batching, quality checks and production documentation.
- Managing inventory, stock control activities and stocktake assistance.
- Conducting daily plant inspections, pre-start checks and basic maintenance activities.
- Maintaining product segregation, housekeeping standards and yard presentation.
- Supporting continuous improvement initiatives that improve safety, service and operational performance.

Who you are

You’re a reliable team player who enjoys working outdoors, operating equipment and taking ownership of your work.

Experience in a yard, concrete, quarry, building supplies, garden supplies, logistics or manufacturing workplace will be highly regarded. Forklift and Front End Loader experience is desirable, however training and support will be provided for the right candidate. Most importantly, you’re willing to learn, contribute and help create a positive, high-performing workplace.
