We're now looking for an experienced People & Culture Business Partner to join our team in a newly created part-time role.

About the Role

This is a hands-on, generalist People & Culture role that will partner closely with leaders across the business to deliver a positive employee experience from hire to retire. The successful candidate will provide practical coaching and advice on people matters, support recruitment and onboarding activities, contribute to employee engagement and wellbeing initiatives, and help leaders navigate employee relations and workplace challenges with confidence.

Working closely with the Head of People & Culture, you'll be a trusted advisor who enjoys building relationships, solving problems and supporting leaders to achieve great outcomes for their teams.

Key Responsibilities

Partnering with Leaders

- Provide day-to-day HR advice and coaching
- Support performance conversations and performance improvement plans
- Guide leaders through employee relations matters, investigations and workplace concerns
- Ensure people decisions are fair, consistent and compliant

Recruitment & Onboarding

- Support managers to attract and hire great people
- Coordinate recruitment activities and candidate experience




- Manage onboarding processes to ensure new starters are set up for success
- Maintain employment documentation and compliance requirements

Employee Development & Engagement

- Support performance and development processes
- Assist with learning and capability-building initiatives
- Coordinate employee engagement activities and action plans
- Contribute to recognition, wellbeing and culture programs
- Assist with organisational change initiatives and workforce planning activities
- Identify opportunities to improve processes and enhance the employee experience

About You

You are a capable HR skilled who enjoys working closely with leaders and employees in a practical, solutions-focused setting.

To be successful, you'll bring:

- Experience in a Human Resources, People & Culture Generalist or HR Business Partner role
- Strong knowledge of Australian employment legislation and employee relations practices
- Confidence coaching leaders through people-related matters
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills
- A practical, proactive and commercially focused approach

Highly regarded

- Experience within manufacturing, FMCG or a blue-collar workforce environment
