We are seeking an experienced Account Manager to join the team at Brilliant Group. This is a full-time position based at our Moorabbin Airport office in Victoria.
3 divisions within the group:
Brilliant Group - sources and supplies a wide range of hardware, electrical, automotive, adhesives and general merchandise to the Australian retail sector.
SGMA Foods - specialising in legume plant-based, gluten‑free, high‑protein snacks supplying the grocery sector.
Finishing Services - industry leaders in contract packing; specialising in pharmaceutical, cosmetic, FMCG.
About the role:
Straddling both Brilliant Group and SGMA Foods we are looking for a commercially driven Account Manager to grow our Independent Multi‑Site Operator (MSO) customers and to create new sales channels. You'll develop customer partnerships, deliver profitable growth, and drive ranging and distribution.
What you’ll be responsible for:
Develop and execute strategic customer plans for priority Independent MSO accounts.
Grow sales, distribution and ranging for our different brands.
Build strong relationships with owners, buyers and key customer stakeholders.
Liaise with Field Sales and Marketing to deliver agreed KPI’s.
Analyse sales and customer data to identify opportunities, monitor performance and drive continuous improvement.
Lead customer reviews and ensure execution delivers against commercial objectives.
What you’ll bring to the role:
Proven account management, independents and/or multi‑site customer sales experience to build on existing general merchandise customers.
Ability to develop new sales channels for health food snack categories; grocery, food service, P&C.;
Demonstrated ability to build customer plans, manage trading activity and deliver commercial outcomes.
Experience using sales and distribution data to identify opportunities and improve performance.
Strong stakeholder management capability across customers, field teams and internal functions.
A strategic mindset coupled with a hands‑on approach to execution.
Excellent communication, presentation and influencing skills.
Team player able to work with and influence a wide range of stakeholders both inside and outside of the organisation.
