The Role

As Junior Sous Chef, you'll play a key leadership role in supporting the Head Chef and Senior Sous Chef with the day-to-day running of the kitchen. You'll lead by example during service, help develop the team, and ensure every dish leaving the pass meets Stomping Ground's high standards.

You’ll take ownership of:

- Supporting the day-to-day operation of the kitchen

- Leading and motivating the kitchen team during service

- Preparing and delivering consistently high-quality food

- Training and mentoring junior chefs and apprentices

- Maintaining exceptional food safety, cleanliness, and HACCP standards

- Assisting with stock control, ordering, stock rotation, and minimising waste





- Stepping into a leadership role in the absence of the Head Chef or Senior Sous Chef
