Our team is seeking an experienced Workers Compensation Consultant to join us in our Melbourne office, providing excellent customer service and technical advice to our broad client base.

About the Role

The Workers Compensation Consultant enjoys a varied, autonomous, and rewarding role within our business. You'll deliver consulting services to new and existing clients - proactively managing claims and return to work processes, providing premium advice, and coordinating clients workers compensation programs to deliver cost-effective outcomes. You'll identify trends and risks to develop premium reduction initiatives, liaise with Authorised Agents and Insurers on claims issues, and manage client expectations throughout.

This role also involves seeking out new business opportunities, developing relationships and obtaining referrals through your client interactions, and supporting renewals and placements. With a client-first approach, you'll be supported by a well-structured team and strong leadership, while working with a good degree of autonomy and limited supervision.

About You





You're an experienced Workers' Compensation Consultant with thorough product knowledge, an advanced understanding of Workers' Compensation processes, regulations and compliance requirements, and strong rapport-building skills. You bring sound analytical and problem-solving skills and a track record of delivering strong results for your clients.

You're self-motivated and comfortable managing your own workload with limited supervision, while also thriving as part of a team. You're eager to keep learning and growing as part of your professional journey, and flexible enough to travel occasionally when needed. With case management experience and a sound understanding of premium drivers and return to work principles and practice, you're ready to join our team!
