Here at Apprenticeship Careers Australia (ACA) we currently have an exciting opportunity for applicants looking to start their career through aCertificate III Mobile Plant Technology, located acrossFairfield& our host employer,Hiredepot.

Our Apprenticeship Program offers a unique blend of on-the-job training, mentorship, and classroom learning. As an apprentice, you will work alongside experienced professionals, gaining practical experience and developing valuable industry skills.This program is perfect for recent graduates, career changers, and anyone eager to learn and grow in a supportive environment.

Duties:

Inspect, service, maintain and assist with repairs on a wide range of mobile plant and hire equipment to ensure it is safe, reliable and ready for use.

Conduct pre-hire inspections and routine servicing in accordance with company procedures and maintenance schedules.

Prioritise and prepare high-demand equipment to ensure customer requirements are met and fleet availability is maximised.

Perform basic maintenance on company fleet vehicles,



including tyre pressure checks, fluid top-ups and general inspections.

Assist with equipment presentation activities, including applying branding to new machines and preparing equipment for sale.

Skills and responsibilities:

Genuine interest in mechanics, diesel engines, or heavy equipment.

Strong work ethic and willingness to learn.

Mechanically minded with good problem-solving skills.

Ability to work effectively as part of a team.

Commitment to workplace health and safety.

Current driver's licence (or working towards obtaining one) is advantageous.
