What you'll do

- Design, develop, and maintain automated testing frameworks using Python to ensure high-quality software releases.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand product requirements and create comprehensive test plans that address both functional and non-functional aspects.
- Execute manual and automated tests, analyze results, and report defects to the development team in a clear and concise manner.
- Continuously improve testing processes and methodologies to enhance efficiency and effectiveness in identifying issues.
- Participate in code reviews and provide constructive feedback to peers to promote best practices in testing and development.
- Develop and maintain documentation for test cases, test plans, and testing procedures to ensure transparency and knowledge sharing within the team.




- Work closely with developers to troubleshoot and resolve issues identified during testing phases, ensuring timely delivery of high-quality software.
- Stay current with industry trends and advancements in testing tools and methodologies to continuously enhance the testing framework and practices.
- Mentor junior team members and contribute to their professional growth by sharing knowledge and best practices in software testing.
- Participate in Agile ceremonies, including sprint planning and retrospectives, to align testing efforts with project timelines and goals.
- Engage in performance testing to assess the scalability and responsiveness of our applications under various load conditions.
- Assist in the integration of testing tools into the CI/CD pipeline to streamline the software development lifecycle.

Requirements

- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field.
- A minimum of 3 years of experience in software testing, with a strong focus on automated testing using Python.
- Proficient in test automation frameworks such as Selenium, Pytest, or similar tools.
- Solid understanding of software development methodologies, particularly Agile and DevOps practices.
- Experience with version control systems, particularly Git, for managing code and collaborating with team members.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills,



with a keen attention to detail.
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, to effectively convey technical information to non-technical stakeholders.
- Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively within a team environment.
- Familiarity with performance testing tools and techniques is a plus.
