As our business continues to expand, we’re looking for an experienced Recruitment Consultant to join our growing team in Mackay. This is more than just another recruitment role — it’s an opportunity to become part of a business that is building something significant.

About the Role

Reporting directly to the Human Resources Manager, you’ll manage end-to-end recruitment. Your responsibilities will include:

- Managing the full recruitment cycle from sourcing through to placement.
- Developing and maintaining strong relationships with new and existing clients.
- Advertising vacancies across national platforms.
- Proactively sourcing candidates through databases, networking and talent pools.
- Conducting interviews, candidate assessments and reference checks.
- Managing mobilisation, onboarding and compliance requirements.
- Coordinating medicals, licences, qualifications and pre-employment documentation.
- Building talent pipelines for shutdowns, projects and permanent recruitment.
- Working closely with clients to forecast workforce requirements.
- Maintaining accurate recruitment records and CRM data.
- Delivering exceptional customer service to both clients and candidates.

About You

You’ll be someone who genuinely enjoys recruitment,



thrives in a fast-paced workplace and takes pride in delivering outstanding outcomes. To be successful you will have:

- Previous experience in recruitment, labour hire or talent acquisition. Experience in Cranes, Riggers and associated skillsets is desirable.
- Strong relationship-building and business development skills.
- Excellent communication and negotiation abilities.
- High attention to detail and exceptional organisational skills.
- Ability to manage multiple vacancies simultaneously.
- Strong computer skills and confidence using recruitment software and Microsoft Office.
- Knowledge of Australian employment legislation.
- Experience in labour hire mobilisation and workforce compliance (highly regarded).
