The Opportunity
Due to ongoing growth, we are seeking a passionate Exercise Physiologist to join our upcoming Healthia Hub on a part-time basis. This role will involve an expected workload of at least 18 hrs per week.
In this role you will focus on making a difference to your clients' lives. You will learn and refine communication and health change skills to connect with your clients and will improve their lives with the skills you possess.
As our valued Exercise Physiologist, you will:
Manage and build on our large existing client base by developing a loyal caseload
Construct and implement exercise programs
Provide a holistic approach to client care via the identification of underlying causes of injury with a focus on optimal lifelong physical health
Develop excellent rapport with your client and participate in marketing by educating our community
Liaise with local GP's, Orthopaedic Surgeons, Strength and Conditioning Coaches, personal trainers and sport teams as required
Demonstrate a commitment to improving your knowledge and clinical skills by participating in our regular Professional Development sessions
What We're Looking For
The ideal candidate is passionate about delivering outstanding patient care, driven in their pursuit of ongoing learning and professional development, and consistently strives to achieve exceptional clinical outcomes.
Along with a passion for helping others, the successful candidate will have/be:
Degree-qualified in Exercise Physiology with full ESSA registration
A current Working With Children Check, NDIS Worker Screening Check and NDIS Worker Orientation Module (or willing to obtain)
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills for rapid rapport-building with clients
Sound clinical reasoning skills
Committed to improving their own knowledge and clinical skills
Self-motivated, organised and can work independently and collaboratively
