About the role
Ayes Health are seeking a full-time Qualified Occupational Therapist to join our allied health team in Austral, NSW. New Graduate and Early Career OT's are encouraged to apply!
As an occupational Therapist, you will play a crucial role in providing comprehensive services to our patients, helping to improve their daily living skills and overall quality of life. What you'll be doing
- Conduct thorough assessments to identify in patients of all ages or your choosing
- Develop and implement individualised treatment plans to address the unique needs of each patient
- Collaborate with other healthcare professionals, such as Speech pathologists, psychologists and physiotherapists, to provide holistic care
- Educate patients, families and caregivers and provide strategies for management
- Maintain detailed clinical records and documentation to ensure the highest standard of patient care
- Participate in ongoing professional development to stay up-to-date with the latest evidence-based practices
What we're looking for
- Degree in Occupational Therapy or equivalent qualification
- Registered or eligible for registration with the AHPRA
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build rapport with patients and their families
- Strong clinical reasoning and problem-solving skills to develop effective treatment plans
- Demonstrated commitment to ongoing professional development and evidence-based practice
- Ability to work collaboratively within a team
- Ability to work independently with ability to grow as a senior OT making decisions and having autonomy on your own case load.
