The Role
You'll manage a diverse community caseload across aged care and NDIS, supported by efficient administration systems, structured clinical templates and a collaborative multidisciplinary team. We've invested in streamlined documentation processes, structured templates and administrative support so you can spend less time on paperwork and more time delivering exceptional care. With ongoing mentorship and supervision, you'll always have the support you need to succeed.
Key Responsibilities
As an Occupational Therapist at Vista Healthcare, you will:
- Provide client-centred care to elderly individuals and people living with disabilities in their homes
- Conduct comprehensive assessments using standardised tools and clinical observation
- Develop personalised intervention plans and set meaningful, achievable goals
- Recommend appropriate assistive equipment and home modifications to maximise client independence
- Prepare clear and timely reports using our structured templates and clinical tools
- Apply sound clinical reasoning across a wide range of conditions and presentations
- Engage in ongoing professional development and integrate new skills into clinical practice
- Work collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team to achieve the best possible client outcomes.
- Collaborate with multiple stakeholders, including families, support coordinators, and other health professionals to ensure holistic care
Key Requirements
- Current AHPRA registration (or eligible for registration for new graduates)
- Valid Australian Driver’s Licence and access to your own vehicle
- Current Police Check, NDIS Worker Screening Check, and Working with Children Check (or willingness to obtain)
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to work both independently and as part of a team
