Operational Risk Analyst - Equity Derivatives & Trading Join our Commodities and Global Markets Group Operational Risk team who play a key role ensuring that key operational risks are effectively managed and monitored, providing a robust foundation for our trading activities. What role will you play? In this role, you will use your non-financial risk knowledge to provide expert advice on the end-to-end risks and controls environment.

You will support and facilitate the continued improvement of processes, controls, and operational risk awareness and culture across our business. You will partner with the trading desks and support groups, leveraging your expertise to develop a comprehensive knowledge of all processes to proactively manage operational risks. You will also provide advice on risk matters, assess new product or business initiatives, investigate incidents, and test the effectiveness of controls.

What you offer - 3+ years' work experience in non-financial risk management or an interest in operational risk with transferrable skills - Previous experience in compliance, operations, technology or AI aligned to trading will also be considered - A continuous improvement mindset and comfort in interpreting and balancing commercial issues within a risk framework - Strong stakeholder engagement and relationship management skills, with a demonstrated ability to work with senior business and risk colleagues to drive, challenge, and influence, as well as lead conversations regarding anticipated and emerging issues.
