Coastal Coverings is looking for a motivated and skilled Upholsterer to join our growing team.

We manufacture and repair a wide range of custom upholstery products, including furniture, cushions, awnings, shade sails, blinds and protective covers. We are looking for someone who takes pride in their workmanship, has an eye for detail, and enjoys working on a variety of custom projects.

About the Role

- Manufacturing, repairing and recovering upholstered products.
- Cutting, sewing and assembling a variety of fabrics, vinyls and other materials.
- Measuring and pattern making for custom jobs.
- Foam cutting and cushion assembly.
- Operating industrial sewing machines and upholstery equipment.
- Installing finished products where required.
- Reading job sheets and working from customer specifications.
- Maintaining a clean, secure and organised workspace.




- Working efficiently both independently and as part of a team.

Skills & Experience

- Previous upholstery experience.
- Experience using industrial sewing machines.
- Excellent attention to detail and a commitment to quality workmanship.
- Good organisational and time management skills.
- Ability to work independently and meet deadlines.
- A positive attitude, reliability and strong work ethic.
