Rhys Evans Farm Machinery is currently looking to recruit an experienced and qualified Mechanical Engineering Technician to join their team in Colac West and Ballarat VIC. The successful candidate will need to undertake and possess:
- Running and analysing diagnostic tests on a wide range of agricultural machinery/equipment and tractors (change to match what company does)
- Maintain, test and repair/replace mechanical assemblies on heavy plant/machinery and tractors (change to match what company does)
- Perform assessments and repairs in the field and workshop
- Perform preventative maintenance
- Fabricate and assemble recent or modified mechanical components for products such as machinery,
equipment and measuring instruments
- Work within timeframes and servicing schedules and maintain records
- Installing equipment and testing operations
Skills and Abilities:
- Ideally have Diploma in Mechanical Engineering or related
- A minimum of three years’ experience
- The ability to work in a team environment
Salary range is $70,000 - $85,000pa commensurate with experience Fulltime Position available Applications open on 24th July 2026 and closes on 24th August 2026
