About the role

This role is a great next step for someone building their career in advice support. Blending client service, advice implementation and developing paraplanning responsibilities, it offers a explicit pathway from Associate Paraplanner to Paraplanner. Working closely with Financial Advisers, you’ll assist with client administration, technical research and the preparation of high-quality advice documents.

What you’ll be doing

Client Service & Advice Implementation

- Deliver exceptional service to clients through professional and timely communication.

- Prepare client meetings and implementation documentation.

- Coordinate the implementation of financial advice, including investment, superannuation and insurance recommendations.

- Maintain accurate client records within Xplan and associated systems.

- Monitor workflow tasks and ensure agreed service standards are achieved.

- Liaise with product providers and other stakeholders to progress client matters.

- Provide proactive updates to clients throughout the advice process.

Advice Support & Paraplanning

- Assist Financial Advisers in preparing compliant Statements of Advice (SOAs) and Records of Advice (ROAs).

- Gather and analyse client information required for advice preparation.

- Conduct product and strategy research.

- Prepare financial modelling and projections.

- Assist in developing appropriate recommendations consistent with client objectives and Best Interest Duty obligations.





- Review advice documentation for completeness and accuracy before presentation.

Compliance & Continuous Improvement

- Assist with file reviews and quality assurance processes.

- Ensure documentation complies with internal procedures and licensee requirements.

- Identify opportunities to improve systems, processes and client outcomes.

- Contribute positively to team projects and business initiatives.

About you

We’re looking for someone who is organised, analytical and genuinely excited to keep growing in financial advice. You’ll take pride in producing accurate work, meeting deadlines and contributing to a positive, collaborative team.

To succeed in this role, you’ll bring:

- Previous experience within a Financial Planning practice.

- Experience in a Client Service Officer or similar advice support role.

- Excellent communication and organisational skills.

- Strong attention to detail.

- Ability to manage competing priorities and deadlines.

- Working knowledge of Microsoft Office and financial planning software.

Desirable

- Experience using Xplan.

- Experience preparing or assisting with SOAs and ROAs
