Are you an experienced Electrician looking to join a leading company in the electrical manufacturing industry? Based in our Edinburgh modern manufacturing facility, Mayfield is seeking full-time Electricians to play a key role in completing all electrical fitting works, including assembling switchboards, fitting out switch rooms and other integrated equipment solutions in a workshop-based setting. This role will support the project management team in providing project set-up and general project administrative support for clients in the following industries:
- Renewable Energy
- Infrastructure
- Power Generation & Transmission
- Water & Wastewater
- Mining
- Heavy Industry
- Minerals & Metals Processing
- Oil & Gas
What you’ll be doing
- First and second fix electrical installations inside a steel structured switch room.
- Electrical panel assembly.
- Use of electrical line diagrams, block diagrams, schematics and termination diagrams to performing point to point wiring.
- Installation, harnessing and termination of cabling for field devices.
- Plan and prepare work activities effectively.

What we’re looking for:
- Ability to read and understand complex electrical drawings
- Electrical fitting and manufacturing experience
- Knowledge and understanding of relevant Australian Standards
