Hampton Veterinary Clinic (HVC) is expanding and currently have an opportunity for a Vet Nurse to join our team in Bayside VIC. The practice provides exceptional and professional veterinary care to pets and their owners. We have a strong reputation among a loyal client base for providing high standards of care and treatment and excellent customer service.
We have a fantastic opportunity for an experienced Full Time or Part Time Veterinary Nurse with a minimum of 2+ years in a small animal veterinary medicine practice to join our small but enthusiastic team.

The Role
- Assist our Vets with routine examinations
- Surgical and hospital nursing including monitoring anaesthetics
- Pre and post operative patient care including grief support to clients
- Prepare and administers medications as required
- Admission and discharge of hospital and surgical cases
- Communicate treatment plans to clients
- Blood collection and testing, iv catheter placement
- Assist with x-rays and ultrasounds
- Assist with dental scale and polish of dental patients
- Sterilization of instruments according to practice sterilization procedures
- General day to day nursing duties to support our Vets and working with your team members to ensure the highest patient care
- General cleaning duties to help make the clinic sparkle
