Casual Maintenance & Groundsperson Opportunity

Aquis Farm is seeking a reliable and motivated Casual Maintenance & Groundsperson to join our team at our picturesque thoroughbred farm in Canungra.

As we head into the busy spring season, we're looking for someone to assist with maintaining the farm's gardens, grounds and general maintenance. This role offers flexible casual hours, with days and hours to be discussed with the successful applicant. Occasional weekend work may be required during busy periods.

Key Responsibilities

- Mowing, weed control, spraying and general garden maintenance
- Operating equipment including ride-on and push mowers, brush cutters, blowers, edgers, hedgers and spraying equipment
- Operating tractors and skid steers
- Maintaining the farm's gardens and grounds to a high skilled standard
- Carrying out basic servicing, maintenance and repairs on farm vehicles, equipment and machinery
- Assisting with general labouring and farm maintenance tasks as required

To Be Successful You'll Need





- Experience in turf and lawn maintenance
- Ability to safely operate farm machinery and carry out basic repairs and maintenance
- Knowledge of weed control chemicals and pesticides
- Experience maintaining irrigation systems (desirable)
- A strong work ethic with the ability to work independently
- Good physical fitness and the ability to undertake manual labour and occasional heavy lifting
- A current Australian driver's licence
