Electrician / Leading Hand / Electrical Supervisor

We’re growing our Warrnambool team and are hiring a qualified A Grade Electrician / Leading Hand / Electrical Supervisor.

Please note: A current Police Check and Working with Children Check are required for this role — these will be arranged and covered by QA Electrical prior to commencement.

What you’ll be doing

Leadership: Lead by example on-site and support/guide tradespeople, apprentices, and subcontractors (including labour allocation and job planning).

Service & Maintenance: Oversee day-to-day maintenance, fault finding, repairs and small projects/installs across Warrnambool and the South West.

Client Relationships:



Build strong relationships with clients and represent QA professionally on-site.

Scheduling & Coordination: Help coordinate workflow, priorities and job sequencing to keep work running smoothly.

Technical Support: Provide a high level of technical knowledge across maintenance and installations (including EV charging and data works where required).

Safety Commitment: Drive a proactive safety culture and ensure works are completed safely and to standard.

Reporting & Compliance: Communicate clearly, complete required paperwork, and support reporting requirements.

What We’re Looking For

A Grade Electrical Licence (Victoria) (must have)

Current Driver’s Licence (must have)

Minimum 3 years’ experience in a Leading Hand / Supervisory capacity (or solid demonstrated leadership experience)

Strong organisational and communication skills

Sound job planning / coordination skills and ability to keep calm under pressure

Proficiency in Microsoft applications (Word, Excel, Teams) and job management software

A strong safety-first mindset and quality workmanship standards

Ability to pass a pre-employment medical

EWP licences (above and below 11 metres)
