This is a hands on role that requires the right candidate to jump in and lead the team often within.

Key Responsibilities

Operations Management

- Supervise daily warehouse activities including receiving, put-away, picking, packing, shipping, and inventory control
- Ensure compliance with client-specific SOPs and SLAs
- Monitor workflow to meet productivity, accuracy, and on-time shipping targets
- Coordinate with shipping lines to unload containers within scheduled timeline
- Liaise with approved suppliers for mechanical repairs/ servicing of equipment
- Lead, train, and motivate warehouse associates
- Assign work, set performance expectations, and conduct performance evaluations
- Enforce company policies, safety rules, and attendance standards
- Support onboarding and ongoing training for new and existing employees

Inventory & Quality Control

- Oversee inventory accuracy through cycle counts and audits
- Investigate and resolve inventory discrepancies
- Ensure proper handling, storage, and labelling of products
- Maintain high picking and packing accuracy rates

Safety & Compliance

- Promote a safe work setting and ensure OSHA and company safety standards are followed
- Conduct safety meetings, inspections, and incident investigations




- Ensure proper use of equipment such as forklifts, pallet jacks, Internal Docks and RF scanners

Systems & Reporting

- Utilize Warehouse Management Systems (WMS) and RF technology to track inventory and orders
- Generate daily productivity, inventory, and performance reports
- Communicate operational updates and issues to management
- Identify opportunities to improve processes, efficiency, and cost control
- Assist in implementing new clients, processes, or technologies

Qualifications

Required

- 2–5 years of warehouse or distribution experience, preferably in a 3PL environment
- 1–3 years of supervisory or team lead experience
- Strong understanding of warehouse operations and inventory control
- Experience with WMS and RF scanning systems
- MS Office

Preferred

- Experience managing multiple clients or accounts
- Knowledge of OSHA regulations and safety programs
- Leadership and team-building skills
- Strong organizational and time-management abilities
- Problem-solving and decision-making skills
- Clear verbal and written communication
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, high-volume environment
