About the Role

This is a customer-facing showroom role suited to someone with a strong appreciation for interiors, colour, materials and presentation.

You will be responsible for welcoming showroom visitors, assisting designers and trade customers with product selections, supporting the sales team with enquiries and sample requests,



and helping maintain a professional and beautifully presented showroom environment.

The role will also involve assisting with social media activity, showroom content, product photos, short videos and brand interaction online. The company will provide product information and marketing materials, but we are looking for someone who is comfortable participating in content creation and representing the brand in a professional showroom setting.

Key Responsibilities

Showroom & Customer Service

- Welcome showroom visitors and provide a warm, confident and skilled first impression.

- Introduce Verdecor decorative board ranges, finishes, samples and basic product applications.

- Assist interior designers, kitchen designers, cabinet makers, builders and trade customers with colour and finish selections.

- Maintain a clean, organised, beautifully presented and customer‑ready showroom environment.

- Support showroom appointments, designer visits, product presentations and small showroom events.

Front Desk & Sales Support

- Answer incoming phone calls and general enquiries in a professional manner.

- Greet visitors and direct enquiries to the appropriate team member where required.

- Communicate basic order, sample and product enquiry details to the sales team.

- Help keep customer enquiries, showroom activities and internal communication organised.

- Work closely with the sales team to ensure customer needs are clearly understood and followed up.

Social Media & Brand Content

- Photography, styling, videography or content creation skills will be highly regarded.

- Assist with day‑to‑day showroom‑related social media activity using company‑provided materials.

- Help post, interact and respond to appropriate social media enquiries or comments.





- Participate in creating showroom photos, product photos, short videos and brand content.

- Be comfortable appearing in occasional showroom photos or short promotional videos.

- Assist with capturing product displays, sample boards, colour combinations, showroom styling and event content.

About You

The ideal candidate will be confident, friendly, well‑presented, highly organised and comfortable working in a design‑focused showroom environment.

You will have strong communication skills, a good eye for interiors and materials, and the ability to engage professionally with designers, cabinet makers and trade customers.

Essential Requirements

- Strong customer‑facing communication skills.

- Excellent professional spoken and written English.

- Good aesthetic sense and an interest in interior design, colour, finishes and materials.

- Comfortable speaking with interior designers, cabinet makers, builders and showroom visitors.

- Comfortable participating in occasional showroom photo and video content.

- Ability to manage phone enquiries, visitor reception and basic sales support.

- Reliable, proactive and able to work well with the sales and management team.

Highly Regarded

- Background in interior design, kitchen design, cabinetry, joinery, architectural finishes, building materials or premium showroom retail.

- Social media experience, especially Instagram, LinkedIn or business content posting.

- Photography, styling, videography or content creation skills.

- Experience with CRM systems, customer enquiries, sample coordination or sales support.
