Factory Machine Operator with MR Licence

The Role

The Factory Machine Operator role will see you safely operate a range of plant, tools and equipment to manufacture high-quality steel roofing and building products. Your excellent interpersonal skills, solid work ethic and keen attention to detail will set you up for success in this fantastic opportunity to join a highly regarded, industry leading team. You will also undertake occasional MR truck delivery driving. This role may be well suited to someone who has just obtained their MR but hasn't had a lot of driving experience yet as there is plenty of training and support provided with a hardworking, supportive, friendly team in this safe and clean manufacturing environment.

Duties





- Undertake the set-up and operation of press, flashing and other factory machines
- Undertake occasional MR Truck delivery driving
- Ensure quality control and order specification standards are met
- Operate all factory plant, tools and equipment in a safe, tidy and responsible manner
- Ensure efficient work schedule, take inventory of materials and equipment
- Contribute to a positive, friendly, safe and efficient team culture

Skills & Experience

- Demonstrated reliability and ability to undertake repetitive production work safely
- Demonstrated reliability and ability to undertake safe MR driving operations
- Work hours are 6am-4:15pm daily (6am to 7:30am daily paid as OT)
- Genuinely optional Saturday morning overtime available 6:30-10:30am
- Must have an Australian driver's licence
- Must have a Medium Rigid Truck Licence (minimum requirement)
