Role Description The Operations Coordinator is a part time remote role responsible for supporting the smooth functioning of day-to-day activities across the organization. This role coordinates meetings and events, assists with member communications, and helps maintain digital records and documentation.
The Operations
Coordinator tracks ongoing initiatives, monitors timelines and task completion, and supports collaboration with partner organizations. The role includes responding to member inquiries, organizing data and feedback, and preparing brief reports or summaries for leadership. The position works closely with the core team to ensure operational efficiency and consistent delivery of programs, publications, and community outreach.
Qualifications
- Strong analytical skills to organize information, track operations, and support data-informed decisions.
- Effective communication skills, including clear writing,
professional email correspondence, and virtual meeting coordination.
- Foundational operations management skills to support planning, process tracking, and coordination of multiple initiatives.
- Customer service skills to respond to member needs in a professional, respectful, and timely manner.
- Administrative assistance skills, including scheduling, documentation, file management, and use of productivity tools.
- Comfort working remotely, with reliable internet access and ability to manage time independently.
- Experience or interest in architecture, design, advocacy, or nonprofit/community-focused work is beneficial.
- Familiarity with online collaboration platforms (such as email suites, shared drives, and video conferencing tools) is an advantage.
