Are you a hands-on hospitality leader ready to take the next step? The Red Cliffs Club Inc is looking for an experienced Operations Manager to help lead our team and drive the day-to-day success of our venue.

About the Role

Reporting to the General Manager, you'll take ownership of day-to-day venue operations across gaming, bar and bistro — leading your team, maintaining high standards, and helping drive the venue's ongoing growth.

Your responsibilities will include

- Overseeing the day-to-day operations of the venue
- Leading, coaching and supporting the team
- Delivering outstanding customer service and resolving customer concerns
- Ensuring compliance with gaming, liquor and workplace health & safety regulations
- Monitoring gaming and hospitality operations to maintain high standards
- Managing staff rosters and labour costs
- Supporting recruitment, training and employee development
- Assisting with managing cash handling, stock control and operational reporting
- Coordinating maintenance to keep the venue well presented
- Driving continuous improvement and contributing to business growth
- Supporting the General Manager as required

About You





- Previous experience in a venue management, operations or senior supervisory role within gaming or hospitality
- Strong people leadership skills, with the ability to coach, motivate and manage a diverse team
- Solid understanding of gaming and liquor compliance requirements
- A hands-on approach — comfortable on the floor and leading by example
- Solid organisational skills and the ability to manage competing priorities
- A genuine passion for delivering great customer experiences

Desirable Qualifications

- Current Responsible Service of Gaming Certificate (RSG)
- Current Responsible Service of Alcohol Certificate (RSA)
- Victorian Gaming Licence
- TAB & Keno accreditation
