We have two locations, Swan St Eye Centre (Richmond) and Dingley Eye Centre. This role is primarily for our Dingley location. Our team will occasionally work across both locations, providing variety in your work environment and exposure to a broader patient community.

What You'll Be Doing

As an Optical Dispenser, you will play a vital role in helping patients see and feel their best. Your responsibilities will include:

- Dispensing optical prescriptions and supporting patients with their eye care needs, including glasses, contact lenses, dry eye management, myopia management (Orthokeratology), and more.
- Contributing creatively through administrative support and social media tasks.
- Maintaining a welcoming, organised, and professional practice environment.

What We're Looking For We are seeking someone who is people-focused, detail-oriented, and eager to learn a specialised skillset.





- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with strong values of empathy and care.
- Enthusiasm and a growth mindset; optical dispensing is highly technical, and curiosity is essential.
- Strong critical thinking skills and keen attention to detail (accuracy is key).
- A genuine interest in committing long-term to the role, as dispensing requires extensive training.
- Previous customer service experience is preferred; no prior optical experience is required.
- Willingness to occasionally travel to the Richmond practice (Swan St Eye Centre) as required.
- Availability to work Saturdays if required.
