Workfast is seeking an experienced Weighbridge Operator for a quarry facility in Bulla, Vic.

Monday-Friday 6am-3pm

Ongoing for the right candidate

What you need

Minimum 2 years experience in an admin role

Intermediate to advanced Microsoft Office skills (Word, Excel and Outlook)

Experience on a weighbridge, or similar

Mining, civil construction or quarry experience, advantageous

Excellent Verbal, listening and written communication skills

Strong organisational skills with the ability to meet deadlines

Customer facing experience preferred

Safety conscious

What you will be doing

The Weighbridge Operator is responsible for ensuring the effective and productive operation of the weighbridge. Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

Administrative duties such as answering incoming calls, monitoring the general email inbox, greeting and authorising visitors to site and assisting with customer enquiries

Providing quotes and processing sales, liaising with the Account Manager as required

Coordinating transport into and out of the site

Liaising with drivers and directing them to the appropriate area of the site





Advising loader operators of product loading requirements

Operating the radio to communicate with other quarry workers

Processing outgoing and incoming vehicles

Accurately recording truck tare weights and managing this according to State and Federal legislation

Effectively managing communication, documentation and all administration for the weighbridge

Producing reports as required
