The Role

Reportingto the Branch Manager, we are seeking a hands‑on and motivated person to provideoperations leadership to the team in our Rowville Branch - VIC. You will be passionate about building astrong, customer‑focused team that keeps raising the standards in deliveringexcellent customer service. This means leading from the front, showing initiative,and being actively involved in all aspects of Branch operations.

Thisis not a role for people that like managing from a computer in an office.

Duties include:

- Managing day to day operations of the Branch, so the Branch Manager canfocus on active business growth




- Coaching the team to provide customers with exceptional service that growsprofitable relationships. Building strong team morale so that everyone works togetherwith a proactive customer mindset
- Overseeing Branch operations procedures to ensure the right disciplines andstructures are in place to drive consistency, cost effectiveness and practicaloutcomes.
- Working with the team toimplement continuous improvements and efficiencies. Examples: counter service, quotingand customer orders, inventory management, credit management, branchpresentation, delivery service, problem solving, product knowledge
- Running and analysing daily reports and working with the team to actionand follow-up tasks
- Supporting the Branch Manager with staff training and development
- Ensuring company compliance standards are followed.

Required skills and attributes:

- Electrical wholesale or trade sales experience desirable
- Ability to build long term relationships with customers
- Prior experience in a role with high volume regular loyal customercontact
- Successful and proven leadership skills
- Ability to coach and influence other team members in day-to-dayoperations
- Ability to introduce and implementpolicies and procedures, to ensure high customer service standards are met.
- Ability to finish tasks, working with the team to get the 1%ers done.
- Ability to make sound business decisions and resolve problems

Required

- Full Drivers Licence
- Forklift Licence beneficial

Customerservice focused and a desire to develop your skills and knowledge. Industryexperience is not essential. This rolehas plenty of variety.
