We are looking for an experienced leading hand refrigeration technician to join our growing team. If you are someone who enjoys leading by example, mentoring apprentices, and taking ownership of jobs while remaining hands on - we want you!

About the Role

As our Leading Hand, you'll be responsible for overseeing a small team of technicians on commercial service, maintenance and installation works, ensuring jobs are completed safely, efficiently and to a high standard.

Your day-to-day will include:

- Leading and supervising technicians and apprentices on site
- Commercial HVAC and refrigeration service, maintenance and breakdowns
- Installation and commissioning of mechanical equipment
- Fault finding and diagnostics across a range of commercial systemsLiaising with customers and providing excellent service
- Completing digital job cards, reports and safety documentation
- Ensuring work is completed in accordance with Australian Standards and company procedures
- Assisting the Service Manager with job planning and team coordination

What We're Looking For

- Qualified Refrigeration & Air Conditioning Mechanic




- Current Refrigerant Handling Licence (ARCtick)
- Current Queensland Restricted Electrical Licence
- Current Driver's Licence
- Demonstrated experience leading or mentoring a team
- Strong fault-finding and diagnostic skills
- Excellent communication and customer service skills
- Ability to work independently and make sound decisions
- Commitment to safety and quality workmanship

Desirable

- Experience with commercial HVAC systems
- Experience with supermarkets, cold rooms or refrigeration plant
- Forklift, EWP, Working at Heights or Confined Space tickets
- First Aid certification
