**Role Description The Paralegal will support lawyers with day-to-day legal work, including drafting and preparing legal documents, conducting legal and factual research, and organizing case files.
Responsibilities include reviewing documents for accuracy and completeness, managing correspondence with clients and external parties, and assisting with court filings and matter preparation. The role also involves maintaining up-to-date records, scheduling meetings, and providing general administrative support to the legal team. This is a part-time (2-3 days per week), on-site role located in Syd ney, NSW. Qualifications
- Foundational knowledge of Law and legal procedures, with the ability to assist across multiple practice areas.
- Strong Legal Document Preparation skills,
including drafting, formatting, and organizing contracts, letters, and court documents.
- Effective Communication skills for interacting with clients, colleagues, and external stakeholders in a professional manner.
- Proficient Research abilities to locate and interpret legal information, case law, and relevant regulations.
- Careful Document Review skills to identify inconsistencies, errors, and missing information in legal materials.
- High attention to detail, strong organizational and time-management skills, and the ability to manage multiple matters.
- Proficiency with standard office software and legal practice management tools.
- Current law students or candidates with prior experience in a law firm or legal environment is advantageous.
