We have an opportunity for a highly motivated law student to join us as a Paralegal, working a minimum of 4 days per week (Monday to Friday).

This is an important role requiring attention to detail, excellent working relationships across the firm and a “can do”, service-oriented attitude.

Working under the supervision of one of our Partners, you will assist in the day-to-day management of a portfolio of insurance claims in Queensland.

Amongst various duties you will be proficient in drafting legal documents, managing communications with key stakeholders, and offering exemplary customer service. Your duties will also include assisting to manage a diverse portfolio, frequent client contact, attendance at court appearances, mediations and/or conferences, and instructing service providers.

What you bring to us

- Minimum 2 years’ experience in the workforce.

- Enrolled in 2nd year or above in a Bachelor of Laws.

- A positive attitude and willingness to contribute to a friendly team setting.

- High level of literacy, including strong written and verbal communication skills.

- Excellent people skills.

- Ability to work electronically across multiple office programs and in a paperless environment.

- Ability to prioritise and plan workloads.

- An eagerness to learn.
