Key Responsibilities

- Maintain parks, gardens, sports fields, and open spaces
- Plant, prune, mulch, and water garden beds and landscapes
- Operate horticultural equipment including mowers, whipper snippers, hedgers, and blowers
- Assist with landscape improvements and beautification projects
- Perform litter collection, weed management, and general grounds maintenance
- Safely operate council vehicles and equipment

To Be Successful, You Will Have





- Certificate III in Horticulture
- Experience in parks, gardens, landscaping, or grounds maintenance
- Current White Card
- Strong understanding of safe work practices
- Ability to work outdoors in varying weather conditions
- Current driver's licence

Desirable

- MR Truck Licence or higher
- Experience operating ride-on mowers and other horticultural machinery
- Chemical application certification (AQF3)
