Parkville, VIC | Part-Time | College Catering Gather by Cater Care is seeking a motivated Commis Chef / Demi Chef to join our team at International House Kitchen, Parkville. Prepare fresh, nutritious meals for students while developing your skills in a busy education catering environment.

Enjoy a stable part-time roster, supportive team culture and school holiday breaks, including a summer stand-down period over December and January.

Roster

- Monday: 9:30am - 5:30pm
- Tuesday & Thursday: 6:30am - 3:00pm
- Wednesday: 11:30am - 7:30pm
- Friday: 2:00pm - 7:00pm

Key Responsibilities

- Prepare and serve fresh, high-quality meals including bulk cooking
- Support Senior Chefs with daily kitchen operations
- Assist with food preparation, service and general kitchen duties
- Maintain high standards of food safety, hygiene and cleanliness




- Deliver quality food service in a busy catering setting

About You Desired Skills and Experience

- Trade qualification in Commercial Cookery (or equivalent)
- Previous experience in a commercial kitchen or similar role
- School or large-scale catering experience is highly regarded
- Strong understanding of food safety and hygiene standards
- Reliable, organised and able to work effectively in a team
